I actually looked Nathan up on Facebook and sent him the link to my blog post about Challenger ... he graciously agreed to allow me to put his comments on my blog ... how wonderful it is to have warm memories and contacts even around an event as tragic as Challenger ... thank you, again, for your comments :)beth willis miller's bloghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11854449798070643671noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3192616530789199778.post-76048119568386790062013-01-31T13:08:59.118-05:002013-01-31T13:08:59.118-05:00Amazing story. Thank you so much for sharing! And ...Amazing story. Thank you so much for sharing! And how did that young man discover your blog after so many years? That is remarkable! Yes, I remember that day as well. We were living in Georgia, where my husband was a teacher and a pastor of a small church. For some reason, we were out of school that day, I think because it was so cold. We actually were visiting with some friends from our church, and just as we were leaving, the TV announced that the Challenger had blown up. I just remember feeling so devastated and horrified by this, and overwhelmed with feelings of sorrow for these people and their families. Nothing has affected me like that since...except 9-11. Wow. Thank you for remembering these ones who sacrificed their lives for our country that day.Pamela M. Steinerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04060656432106792419noreply@blogger.com
